Praise for ‘Firstborn’
There is nothing that really compares to ‘Firstborn.’ Albums in this genre tend to have so much in common. This feels so unique... Poor Bishop Hooper has captured the spirit of hope and anticipation, and you can feel it in the music.
These songs really do conjure up an overwhelming sense of hope, peace, joy and love surrounding the gift of Christ, and the implications of how His birth (and death) changed my life.
Once again, Jesse and Leah have taken ancient themes thousands of years old and brought them to life with new freshness. They have done something brand new with religious music while using words and lyrics that maintain rich theological depth.
